Out Here in the Fields, I Farm for My Meals Original

Fall | Morning | Farm Harvest

A combine harvests the last rows of autumn corn as the fall sun continues to rise in this agricultural landscape painting that honors America’s farming heritage. This gouache painting celebrates the working lands that feed us and the connection between cultivation and conservation. While not public land, these fields represent our reciprocal relationship with the earth—reminding us that we are stewards, not owners, and that protecting wild spaces and supporting sustainable farming are both essential to our future.

Title of this Piece is based off the song: Baba O’Riley by The Who

About This Land is OUR Land Collection Description:

This Land is OUR Land is a hand-painted gouache collection of nine panoramic landscapes celebrating America’s wild places from California to Maine. Created in direct response to the summer 2025 threat to our public lands, each piece is named after classic songs that speak to our shared American experience. The series can be displayed as individual paintings or lined up together (11×14 prints only) to create one continuous panoramic view of the Continental United States. Following the journey of a single day from sunrise to sunrise and progressing through all four seasons, this collection reminds us that these lands belong to everyone. No AI art—every brushstroke is created by hand. 10% of proceeds from this collection for the month of November 2025 will be donated to Colorado Wildlife Federation to support their conservation and education efforts and continue to keep our lands public.
