Uncaged: Joy Original Painting

Wrapped in bold, colorful garments, Joy radiates light and positivity, with the resplendent quetzal—her spirit bird—perched beside her. This expressive wall art is a reminder to embrace happiness and live fearlessly. A perfect choice for those who love maximalist decor and art that uplifts the soul.

The Uncaged Collection reimagines the classic cameo portrait, transforming it into a powerful expression of liberation and self-discovery. These vibrant maximalist art prints and original paintings depict women breaking free from their framed prisons, each accompanied by a spirit bird symbolizing their unique journey. Accompanying them are three solo bird portraits, reminding us to embrace life’s freedom with grace and confidence.

Perfect for those seeking colorful home decor with deep symbolism, the Uncaged Collection is a testament to personal growth, strength, and the beauty of living without limits.

Description

This is an original gouache painting by Katie Jackson (Hutt). FRAME NOT INCLUDED

Shipped with a backboard, wrapped in a plastic sleeve, and encased in a stiff envelope or tube to ensure that it gets safely to your doorstep.

**To ensure the longevity of your piece please frame right away. Natural light and exposer to air or water are the enemy of artwork. A glass frame (as opposed to plastic) is always preferred. Choose a spot on the wall out of direct sunlight. To ensure your investment holds, I suggest framing with a professional framer or with framebridge who will seal the back of the frame to keep it from getting contaminated with dust, water, or anything else that could damage your painting. Learn more about frames here
