She has walked through the dark. She knows what it means to descend, to sit with the underworld, to be changed by it. And she has chosen to rise.
In this painting, Persephone walks forward into barren land and life erupts in her wake. What appears to be her green dress is something more: it flows out behind her and becomes the world itself. Fresh grass, blooming flowers, the colors of a season reborn. She is not separate from nature. She is its source.
This piece is for anyone who has lived through their own underworld season. A winter that lasted longer than it should have. A part of themselves that had to go underground before it could bloom. Persephone's return is your return. It's time to resurrect, it's to plant something new.

Limited Edition Prints: Limited edition prints are produced in small quantities and once the edition sells out, they are never reprinted.
Each print is signed, numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Once all 50 prints are sold, this edition closes permanently.
Along with each print is a QR code to The Modern Magic Podcast where you can find guided mindfulness practices that will take you deeper into your painting. Art is medicine, these practices are the prescription.
Care
To ensure the longevity of your piece please frame right away. Natural light and exposure to air or water are the enemy of artwork. A glass frame (as opposed to plastic) is always preferred. Choose a spot on the wall out of direct sunlight. For original artworks I always suggest having them framed by a professional framer for a sealed back that further portects your artwork.
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout. All prints are made to order and will be shipped to me first for product inspection and then shipped to you. Expect delivery between 7-10 day. Originals will be safely packaged and provided extra insurance to ensure they arrive to you safely. Expect 7-10 days for delivery.
Shipped with a backboard, wrapped in a plastic sleeve, and encased in a stiff envelope or in a tube to ensure that it gets safely to your doorstep. Prints + original are on archival acid free paper.
Framing

Canvas Prints
