A Journey Home
Mind, body, spirit.
We take care of our minds through coaches or counseling, our bodies through herbs, exercise and an annual visit to our doctor, but how are you tending to your spirit?
Creative practice is the doorway to a healthier, happier you and it's not as far out of reach as you may believe it to be. Source Sessions are 1:1 guided experiences where, together, we discover where it is you're stuck and find rituals, exercise or perhaps archetypes to help you get unstuck.
This was an invaluable tool to examine my own interests and motivations (and what keeps me stuck) when exploring my own creativity. We dug in on the layers of self necessary to feel connected to a creative source and ultimately unraveled a few layers of what holds me back creatively (and how that manifests in other areas of my life, too). I expected the Source Session to be impactful, but did not expect the level of depth and coherence Katie would provide in only an hour. Her laser sharp insights and breadth of wisdom about what makes people tick pointed me in directions I wouldn't have thought to explore myself.

Back to The source
A Wise Woman of Paints + Archetypes
I lived next to the Source when I was 20. The body of water that fed the Nile, Lake Victoria. These waters were the life source for the community, home to fish and plant life that fed the people, the source of water, and another kind of nourishment that touched the soul.
There are many names for Source. Some call it the Divine or God, but after leaving the church years ago those words carried too much baggage for me to hold. Instead, I found my own connection to source through creativity, and it's the tool I use to help you reconnect with yours.
Consider me your wise woman, not of herbs or touch, but of paints and archetypes.
I am not a therapist and creative work can bring up any past trauma you might have encountered. I'm here simply to help you come back to yourself, your creative nature, and your source of intuition. I heavily suggest working with a trauma therapist before doing a Source Session to ensure you are ready for this kind of work.
For The Woman Ready To Come Back To Life
When I most needed a creative practice was when I felt drained, stuck, and completely uninspired. The day-to-day was getting to me and I felt as if there was no way out. I was completely disconnected from the world around me, and honestly, myself.
Whether your business is draining you dry, you're a new mom aching to remember who you were before, or you've simply hit a wall and need a sustainable way to refuel, these sessions are for you.
Choose your session
First session
75-minute 1:1 session virtually or in-person to discuss where you feel depleted and design a personalized map back to your source.
Sequel session
One hour together virtually or in-person to continue to dive deeper into connecting with your source. This is not required but some like to have a monthly, quarterly, or even annual source session to stay on track and stay connected.
A single sessions helped me create a roadmap of what I need in order to feel inspired and reconnected to my creativity...The conversation naturally flowed while staying very intentional with where it headed.

In-Person Session
What We Work With
My library of tools spans from favorite books, suggestions from my own teachers, or things I’ve discovered along the way. In any given session we could explore creative expression in the sketchbook I’ll provide, breathwork, talk through ideas or use my archetype cards that highlight 20 of the most common archetypes. Almost all of my work is rooted in the philosophy of the 7 layers of self, an ancient knowledge from India. In most source sessions I find that we really notice and work on the first 3-layers as that is where the most blocks are held.
Know that every source session is different. Your story, your needs, and your relationship with these tools will come first. If something really doesn’t feel like something you want to try we’ll move on to another tool, I just ask that you come with an open mind–you never know which tool will help you get unstuck.
Frequently asked questions
How long is a session and how much does it cost?
A first time session is 75-minutes for $200. Any session after that is 60-minutes for $150.
Is this virtual or in person?
I can provide both a virtual or an in-person experience. If you are located in the Denver area, I highly suggest coming in person. There is something about being in the flesh that makes things feel more tangible and help you connect better, plus it puts you in a new environment.
How do I prepare for a session?
There is nothing you need to do for the session except come with an open mind. If you are doing this virtually, you'll want to have a notebook or sketchbook and a variety of art supplies nearby. (This can be your kids school supplies or a box of markers you pick up from the store).
What happens after we meet?
Before our session ends you'll have a few things of homework to work on and think about. I'll check in with you about a week later to see how you're feeling, if you have any questions, or if you want to schedule another session.
Do I have to book a second session?
Not at all. I'm here when you need me as a guide to your source. If you feel like you got what you need after one session, great. If 3, 6, 12 months down the road you want to pick up where we left off, I'm here.
