Many women who walk into these workshops have the same belief “I’m not an artist.” But I’m here to prove you wrong.
These workshops are more than just putting brush to paper or making something pretty (although we do that too) by picking up a paintbrush you will tend to your parasympathetic nervous system, lower your cortisol levels and find that spark of relief from burn out.
Art is medicine, I believe that to my core. The creative spark workshop is an invitation to witness this first hand and to do it with your community.
Embrace imperfection and try something new & fun for yourself! I had the pleasure of attending a painting workshop with Katie & Modern Magic and I'm so glad I did. Katie is super supportive, smart in her craft and kind in her approach and ideas. I had no idea what to expect, went in with an open mind and had a blast. I thought I couldn't create art until this workshop and am grateful for writing a new story!

These 2-hour workshops (with an additional 2-hours of setup and takedown–4 hours total) are a way to bond with your tribe while feeding your soul.
INCLUDED IN YOUR EVENT:
Food and drink are not provided but you are more than welcome to provide drinks of any kind and snacks or invite your group to treat it like a potluck.
How It Works
On a short call we'll plan out the details–date, number of people, what we'll paint, and where we'll paint. With a 50% payment down we'll save the date and get ready for creative rest.
On the day of your event, I'll arrive 1 hour early to set up for our 2-hour workshop together. During this workshop I'll teach you and your community to paint but I'll also dive deeper into the cycles of creativity and how to return to it when it goes dormant again.
Enjoy yourself at the event. Once we're set up and ready to go, I'll take care of everything while you enjoy your time with your guests.
These workshops are also a meaningful way to mark life’s sacred transitions. Come celebrate a bride-to-be with a slow, laughter-filled afternoon of painting as an alternative bachelorette party. Honor a daughter stepping into womanhood with a gentle, guided creative experience. Bring a team together by embarking on a creative adventure together. Or gift a group of mom's the sweetest kind of time—two quiet hours to remember herself as more than what she gives.
There’s no pressure to create a masterpiece. You may walk away with a painting you proudly hang on your wall, or one that reminds you to try again. Either way, you’ll leave with something deeper: a spark, a memory, a reconnection to your creative fire, and new tools to keep it going.
A 2-hour hands-on workshop designed to spark imagination, release stress, and foster connection among groups of friends or team members. Participants explore their creativity in a playful, collaborative environment.
Any team or private group (Especially those made up of women) looking to strengthen collaboration, inspire, innovate, and bring creative energy into their work and life. No artistic experience is needed.
All my painting workshops cost $95 per person.
Groups leave energized, inspired, and more connected. They gain practical tools to release perfectionism, ignite creativity, and bring fresh ideas to both work and life.

Yes! I love partnering with The Seam here in Lakewood, CO. They are located just off 6th and Garrison and have a beautiful workshop space with all the things we need to have a beautiful event. I'm happy to set everything up with them. Using a venue outside of your own is an additional cost.
Yes! I will bring all the supplies for the workshop but will require tables and chairs for the number of your attendees and access to water to refill water cups throughout the night.
I'll need the space for 4 hours. 1 hour for setup, 2 hours for the workshop, 30.minutes for goodbyes and any artists needing a few extra minutes and 30 minutes for the final tear down.
Gouache paints are a water based paint, which means they wash out of clothes. So wear anything that's comfortable and makes you feel confident!
