Story Behind The Art
The Call Within is a Colorado landscape painting of the mountains above Dillon Reservoir in Frisco, Colorado, with traditional Italian marbling woven into the sky and water. A sailboat moves across the lake while wildflowers fill the foreground, creating a scene that feels both familiar and a little dreamlike.
The painting was inspired by the idea that the call we spend so much time searching for is already inside of us. Like the heroine in so many of the stories we love, we may have to leave home, get a little lost, face our own dark forest, and follow the clues along the way before realizing that the wisdom, creativity, and truth we were looking for were within us all along.
I created this piece as a reminder to listen for that inner call, trust your own journey, and follow what quietly moves you forward.

Care
To ensure the longevity of your piece please frame right away. Natural light and exposure to air or water are the enemy of artwork. A glass frame (as opposed to plastic) is always preferred. Choose a spot on the wall out of direct sunlight. For original artworks I always suggest having them framed by a professional framer for a sealed back that further portects your artwork.
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout. All prints are made to order and will be shipped to me first for product inspection and then shipped to you. Expect delivery between 7-10 day. Originals will be safely packaged and provided extra insurance to ensure they arrive to you safely. Expect 7-10 days for delivery.
Shipped with a backboard, wrapped in a plastic sleeve, and encased in a stiff envelope or in a tube to ensure that it gets safely to your doorstep. Prints + original are on archival acid free paper.
