A soft pastel sunset over Dillon Reservoir explores the relationship between air and water.
Air is one of the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. We often notice it when the wind comes or when we cannot catch our breath, but air has a softer side too.
She dances through the sky, moving clouds and shaping layers of color that will never repeat in exactly the same way.
Here, Dillon Reservoir holds still beneath the sky while the air seems to pulse above it, layering light, shadow, and color into a scene of quiet poetry.
A piece for anyone drawn to Colorado's mountains, water, changing skies, and the elements at work around us.
Care
To ensure the longevity of your piece please frame right away. Natural light and exposure to air or water are the enemy of artwork. A glass frame (as opposed to plastic) is always preferred. Choose a spot on the wall out of direct sunlight. For original artworks I always suggest having them framed by a professional framer for a sealed back that further portects your artwork.
Shipping
Shipping is calculated at checkout. All prints are made to order and will be shipped to me first for product inspection and then shipped to you. Expect delivery between 7-10 day. Originals will be safely packaged and provided extra insurance to ensure they arrive to you safely. Expect 7-10 days for delivery.
Shipped with a backboard, wrapped in a plastic sleeve, and encased in a stiff envelope or in a tube to ensure that it gets safely to your doorstep. Prints + original are on archival acid free paper.
