I’m Katie Jackson, the artist behind Modern Magic. My journey to creating art began with a camera in hand—I spent years as a photographer, obsessed with chasing light and capturing life’s fleeting moments. That deep love for how light transforms the ordinary into something magical still influences every brushstroke today. Combined with my admiration for Claude Monet’s mastery of color and atmosphere, I’ve developed a style that celebrates the poetry found in everyday life.
My art helps the woman who does it all create a space that truly feels like home. Through color, story, and whimsy, my paintings serve as gentle reminders to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what matters most. This isn’t just decoration—it’s intentional art designed to ground you in beauty and help you find moments of peace within your own walls.
