Each piece is hand-painted in gouache from a photo of the home, framed, and ready to give.

Leaving a home is rarely simple, even when it's the right move. A house portrait honors that goodbye. Beyond the walls and the roofline, I paint in the details that made the house a home: the family pet who always waited by the door, the flowers planted the year the kids were born, the handprints pressed into the driveway. For clients who raised a family there, prints of the painting can also be made for grown children, so everyone who called it home has a piece of it to keep.

How It Works

We'll talk through the home, the timeline, and any details you want included; a bit of garden, a certain season, the details your client loved most. As well as what not to include; the tree in the middle of the yard that blocks the view.
Reference Photos
Send along the listing photos or your own images of the property. I paint from what represents the home best.
Framed Original
Your painting is hand-painted in gouache, framed, and delivered ready to give. No assembly, no last-minute framing runs. Just hand it over.

A photograph can show what a home looked like, but a painting can hold what it felt like. When I paint a house, I'm not just rendering a structure. I'm looking for the details worth remembering and giving them a permanent home on paper.
This is why clients keep these paintings for decades, long after the moving boxes are gone. It's not decor. It's a piece of their story, made tangible, meant to be looked at again and again.

House Portrait + Family Prints
$700
For clients who've lived in their home long enough to raise a family there. This package includes the original framed painting plus two prints, so parents and children can each keep a piece of the place they built a life in.
*If you're not sure your client will need prints, purchase the first package and let them know they can get prints through me for $75 per print.

What is a good closing gift for real estate clients?

How long does a house portrait take?
Turnaround is typically around two weeks, though it depends on my current commission load. Reach out using the form below and include your deadline in the message, and I'll let you know if I can hit it.
What size are the paintings?
House portraits are painted at 11x14, framed and ready to hang.
Can I order more than one print for a family?
Yes. The Family Prints package includes two additional prints alongside the original, ideal for families who've lived in a home for many years and want each member to have their own copy. If you need more prints as part of this package, additional copies are $65 each. Prints purchased on their own, outside of a package, are $75 each.
Do you paint homes outside of Denver?
Yes. I paint from photos, so I can create a house portrait for any home, anywhere. Shipping costs for homes outside the Denver area are the client's responsibility. If you'd prefer the painting unframed, I'm happy to omit the frame and adjust the price accordingly.
Can I send this as a gift directly to my client?
Yes, just let me know at the time of your order and I can ship it directly to your client. Shipping costs are the client's responsibility, and delivery is handled by mail, not hand-delivered in person.
