Every year in Denver a sunflower field pops up somewhere near the Denver International airport. Where it will be is a matter of exploration since it’s never in the same spot twice. However, when you find this magical land where the sunflowers seem to go on for miles, all the driving through empty fields and fear of it being a myth become worth it. It’s a landscape that breathes magic which makes it only right to capture another type of magic inside of it; love.
In any image, I shot of Kyle and Dani you could see the love he has for her radiating out. Holding her, kissing her, or dancing with her in the middle of the fields there is no question that these two have the real thing.
This time in their life, married, together with a puppy at home, is a moment that will never look the same again. With plans for children in the very near future, Dani and Kyle knew that they wanted to hold onto how their loved looked in this moment before all the next adventures came. Which brought us to this sunflower field in the middle of August, in the middle of nowhere.
The sun slowly setting over the Rocky Mountains in the far distance, with the colors of warmth and near Autumn falling on their sun-kissed skin, we captured their love; Every kiss, laugh and twirl. A meditation of sorts, of being so in the moment in order to remember just how good life feels now and to have something to remember it by and share with those you love. Maybe even those children that might be coming sooner than we all think….
