I love to read.
This wasn’t always the case. As a child I just liked to carry around the largest book I could find to look smart. But now, the idea of sitting on the couch with a cup of tea and good book first thing in the morning, is what gets me out of bed.
So while I could give you a list that would last you a lifetime of what to read, I thought I would share just a few of my favorite books that might just provide the insights you’ve been needing in your work and life.

Company of One
Whether you are a business of one or a business of 100 this book is still for you. It’s an amazing conversation about looking at business from a minimalist perspective and going back to the ways things were done when our grandparents were young. I’ve read it twice and am about ready to pick it up again!

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***
A book that applies to life and business you’ll learn how to embrace the good with the bad and learn from it. Mark Manson doesn’t sugarcoat anything and tells it like it is which proves to be highly entertaining and insightful.

Thrive
Everyone I know is feeling burnt out from our hustle culture. Too much work and worry and not enough rest and time in our communities. Arianna Huffington became well aware of this when she passed out in her office and hit her head on the way down finding the wake-up call she needed. Now, in her book Thrive, we can all learn about what this cultural idea of “hustle” is doing to us and how to reverse it.

Of course, these are just a few of the books on my ever-growing bookshelves. If you’re looking for more you can always reach out to me here or on Instagram and get some more ideas. I’m happy to share whatever I’m reading!
Sincerely,
