I love walking into a home and seeing the walls filled with memories that are special to them. Photos that span their entire lives and show the years of love they’ve shared together. To me, nothing says home more than photographs that share their love.
You may be wondering what to do after you shoot, but the options are limitless. There really is no shortage of ways today to use your engagement photos and have the story of your love shared forever.
To get you started and get you inspired, these are a few of my favorite ways to show off your engagement photos and make all your friends jealous every time they come over to your house.
Coffee Table books:
An album of all your photos to hold forever is my all-time favorite way to show off photos. It’s easy to take with you if you’re going to your family’s house and they want to see them or to keep on the table for guests to look through when they are coming to visit.
The flat lay photo albums that have thicker pages and lay flat when you open them are my go-to. They’re more expensive, but these aren’t books you’ll be buying all that often and the investment is worth it. The gallery that comes with you shoot has some amazing album options but you can also go to my other favorite printers, Artifact Uprising.
Gallery Walls:
If you have too many favorites to choose from in our shoot together, you don’t have to choose. Instead, print them all in different sizes and create a gallery wall. You can also print them in a uniform way and hang them as a grid on the wall if you like your home to be a little more polished.
Canvas or wood prints:
Having your photos on your walls is the best way to make your home feel like yours. And it’s the quickest way to creating some pretty intense jealousy among your friends.
Canvas prints and the new fad of wood prints, which I’m all for, are easy ways to get large prints of your photos up on your walls. And they’re cheaper than getting them matted and framed.
A large canvas or wood print is perfect for above the bed or to take up space on an oversized wall.
Framed on tables:
The best gift to give and the easiest one to show off in your home are small framed photos on tables and mantels. Find fun frames that add some pizazz to your decor or keep them neutral and let the photographs do all the talking.
If you’re looking for frames that will stand out check out World Market for ones that have color and texture you won’t find anywhere else.
Of course, in today’s world, there are a million different ways to have your photos printed onto tables, chairs, tapestries and so much more. Albums and prints are my favorites, but there is no limit to the number of ways you can show off the photos of your love story and have all your friends and family wishing they had a shoot as magical as yours!
